This is from a 2000 XKR. I was trying to access the parts list/manual in the FAQ sticky but I think I don't have enough posts. Anyone have a part # or name for this part? It is leaking fluid and I need to order a new one.

perfect, thank you.

also, if anyone could confirm this on their XKR, mine appears to be ghetto rigged with some sort of adapter for the bleed hose. I say that because looking at some stock photos of the engine bay, it appears only to be held on by a hose clamp.

My car has a connector that is the same as yours. It is a snap on connector. The picture of the engine bay showing a hose clamp is from a 4.2 engine. (2003-on).

Jaguar was having trouble with that connector breaking so they changed it on later models. It is still available. I got mine from the dealer in June of 08 and it was $23. Such a deal! Word of caution when replacing it. Don't break the old one off in the connection!! Would have been a 10 minute repair, but it took me almost an hour to get the broken piece out of the connector.

p.s. I just looked at jaguarparts.com and they list the retail as $13.95!! I see my dealer is still doubling the price for parts as usual !!

thanks for the advice on the install. I always end up having something like that happen, and I won't this time. *crosses fingers*
