Part Load Breather Tube

The part load breather exits the left side cam cover and transits under the intake manifold to the rear of the engine. At the rear it TEES off to the throttle body and then continues to the rear and turns downward to the EVAP system.
First you need the special tool for the cam cover and throttle body fittings. It is a U-shaped piece of plastic and is usually stored on the cam cover fitting or the throttle body fitting. You can use a pair of needle nose pliers and push outward on the fitting straps to release the 2 fittings.
You will need to remove the intake manifold and the throttle body for access and routing. Removing the fitting at the EVAP is pretty standard, but I would recommend cutting the rubber hose off rather than breaking the fitting the nylaster fitting on the EVAP system

I "patched" mine with a piece of black tubing for several years until I had another reason to pull the intake manifold. If you're going to do it, there's threads on here about the norma connector on the octopus hose and the toasted brake booster vacuum line fitting to the throttle body elbow. And while you're at it go ahead and do the thermostat tower and the two "suicide hoses" that run coolant under the intake manifold. So in short, if you're going to do it, there's a bunch of "while I've got it this far aparts" that you should go ahead and do at the same time, making it quite involved.
