Wondering if anyone can help on this, changed the fabric on my A Pillars recently given the fabric on the driver side was way thicker than the passenger side. when i removed the driver side i saw the clips were broken and the previous owner covered with extra thick fabric to keep the A pillar on. Called Jaguar and the part is disco'd, ordered one off Ebay for $40 and the part definitely does not fit my car, even though it said it was a match. I've searched hi and lo and their are a bunch of A pillars for 09 to 06 Jaguar xk8's but they are not an exact fit, i need one that is for an 03 to 06. Part C2N2930LFJ. any help would be appreciated.
Similar problem here. Several years ago I ordered a replacement driver's side A-pillar in nimbus grey from SNG Barrett. What I should have done was to also order the one on the passenger's side (with the little screen covering the sensor) but figured I could do so at a later date. The part number C2N2927LFJ of course shows up at various Jaguar parts sites but is not really available (discontinued). I was trying to avoid removing the fabric and re-gluing but will probably get around to it at some point. That is the downside of keeping vehicles that are more than about 10 years old--OEM replacement parts get harder to come by.
This is when I would start looking at junk or wrecking yards. I've been in this position before and was able to find my parts through some of these yards. Many will pull the part and ship it to you. You can do a google search in your area and make some calls. There are a few national search engines for these yards. This might help in starting a search. https://commonsearches.net/index.php...oaAmINEALw_wcB
Ive searched everything and cannot find an A Pillar that fits my car, i am just wondering if i can take the clips from an earlier model and possibly super glue on my existing to see if it works? thoughts?

Just a thought:
Would it be feasible to redrill/reslot the A pillar to fit the cover you have?
Wont work, I have one that I ordered on eBay. Going to use the original with a little help from super glue. Will take some pics when I get home from a business trip
