Default Rainy days and wet carpet

So it has been raining here on the sunny coast of California and I have had to leave my 2001 XKR convertible out side a couple of times and it seemed to be holding out the water water. However, yesterday I got in it and a got a wif of the dreaded mold smell. I checked under the floor mates and found the carpet on the passenger side is wet. The driver side is dry. Does any have a thought as to where the water might be coming in? Thanks for the help.

I would check that the windows are set to go all the way up, There is a procedure for setting the windows all the way up and down. There is probably a video or sticky on the procedure

Check the passenger side A-pillar and along the forward door jamb for moisture - may be a faulty header seal

Open the hood and look under the cover next to the firewall, right side of car. There is a tube that is attached to a rubber hose. If the funnel is not attached water will build up in there, if you are lucky it will drain into the car, if not you control modules are in this section.
There is a little tab for the tube to attach too. One on the other side also.

to reset the windows raise the window and hold till you here a beep then lower till you here a beep ..... repeat about 2 more times .also check the condition of the gaskets and clean with wd40 or a window gasket cleaner.. it may help loosen them up to seal better
