Default Rear quarter window regulator replacement.

I have heard this is an easy process, but still want to find out what I am getting myself into. Does anyone have a thread, link, or pictures of how to replace the rear quarter regulator on an XK8 convertible? I know how to remove the rear seat. It is the panel, cap, and other things I am not sure about. Thanks

The relevant section from JTIS is above the forum filesize attachment limit. If you want, you can download it as a PDF from my MediaFire online storage:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/enjx7...25.11.pdf/file

If you don't have a MediaFire account, just go for the free version and ignore all offers.

I just finished my replacement; as suggested in a thread, disconnecting the convertible top connection is the key to making space to replace the window regulator. WARNING - be sure you don't operate the top with the lift pistons disconnected - you can damage the limit switches ...
sad story

See jagrepair.com, specifically the link below. I would say it's a bit fiddly but definitely a possible diy job.

I just remove the bolts for the top 'bow' assy and move it a few inches. (with top down)
Displacing is enough to clear access to the fasteners.

Nothing else removed as it will 'flex' enough with everything attached.
