Default Rear seat belt receptacle disintegrated

Had top down and placed (not threw) a bag of charcoal in the back seat. Guess I’ll search eBay for a replacement not that anyone will ever sit there.

Are they the same as the front one? they do look strikingly similar.

Anything weighing more than 16 ounces goes in the trunk. These back seats are barely good enough for carrying a dry beach towel....

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago.

Gorilla Glue has a version in a small bottle and you can apply it with a brush like nail polish. Bonds quickly, so you can go piece by piece without waiting.

Hardest part is bonding the two halves together around the metal clasp. Fine results.

Remembered I had left over buckles from my XJ8 LS swap project. Exact same base where bolts in to body. Squarish instead of rounded but works fine.
