With my other vehicles, I have wired a radar detector to be on when the car is running. Since the unit is mounted high, near the center of the windshield, I usually connect the detector to an ignition-hot wire and ground on the rearview mirror. The question, how does one remove the mirror to expose the wires for testing and eventually soldering the detector wires?
