Default Removal of outside mirror covers

I bought a pair of chrome outside mirror covers for my 2006 XK8. How the heck do you remove the old ones? Also does anyone know how to restore the one touch power window option?

Chrome covers on my XJ just snapped off. Check the new ones to see how they attach.

Try the computer re-boot by disconnecting the + battery cable for a few minutes. Then touch the + cable the - battery terminal for a few seconds. Now reset the windows by lowering them one at a time and hold the switch until you hear a beep. Raise the window and hold the button until you hear a beep again. Now check to see if the one-touch works.

Hi Kye,
Please let us know how you like them after the install. That is one Mod that I have not done, but it is an option that I've often considered. Pictures would be greatly appreciated too!
Thanks!
