Default Removal of Radiator Without Loss of ATF

Is there any way to remove the radiator without losing automatic transmission fluid ? I dread having to go under the car to add ATF. Can I plug the openings on both sides and then add fluid as I reattach the radiator via one of the lines back to the transmission?
many thanks in advance!

Remove the top line first. A little fluid comes out. If you can, capture it (or at least figure out about how much comes out), and add it back later. Once the top line is open, the fluid drains back into the trans through the bottom line. Then disconnect the bottom line. Should have a few drips at the most from the bottom line...

its not enough to affect the operation of the trans as long as at the correct level before hand

I pulled the trans cooler out of a leaking radiator on my 02 and measured the capacity. It held only 4oz.
