How do I do this? Undo two 8mm bolts take out underscuttle (is how one other member described it). Note I have an 2001 XKR coupe.

JITS say Withdraw the underscuttle upper fasteners from their locations in the fascia panel. Ok where are these ? top? bottom middle cant be seen thats for sure!! From their diagram looks like they have the whole fascia off and the fasters are behind that! My car screws came of fine then under scuttle wasnt going anywhere and I dont want to damage it!

Can someone give me a detailed description. Remember I dont have the Jaguar magic wand LOL. I did get the plastic underside of the steering column of ok.

Note I'm trying to fix the sticking up/down steering problem but that thread just says undo two bolts and take out underscuttle like its going to drop out. Guess being a Jaguar those two bolts might hold the engine in as well LOL!!

1. remove the two 8mm bolts at the bottom:



2. the two fasteners are at the top on either side (RH arrowed in black):



They are a press fit into the slots (RH slot arrowed in red):



3. hold the underscuttle panel on either side and pull toward you and slightly down to free the two top securing clips.

4. detach the two harness connectors (labelled 1 and 2) behind the panel before lifting it out of the way:



Harness connector 2 has a tab on the side which has to be pressed to release the connector.

Anyone know where I can get replacement fasteners for the knee bolster? I seem to be missing one causing one side to sag.
