Scoop XK8, I want to install Bride racing seats into my 1999 XK8 Coupe. When you installed your Amazon racing seats into your XK8, to gain more back-seat space, how did you solve the brackets and sliders issue? Did you find aftermarket brackets that fit, or did you need to fabricate brackets?

Thanks, Warren Warburton
In his description he wrote: "The installation took 4 hours to remove the old seat and install one seat as i had to drill new holes. It fits on the same rails the OEM seats used if you drill new holes. It sits slightly higher than OEM seats."
I'll add that I just used leatherique to fix my bolsters, and you can re-dye these seats to OEM colors.
Like said they dont stay kids long ....Throw them in the back and gaffer tape there complaining mouths shut until they grow up.
Firm but fair, it also helps keep the leather clean if they get motion sickness.
I've had kids, a dog, luggage and even an adult in the back seats, though not all at the same time. The "useless" back seats are far more useful than those in any two seater car I have owned, although we did get four of us in my MG Midget once (and never again).
[/QUOTE]So, if I swap out the Jaguar seats for something less complicated, will I need to re-install the seat modules and add jumpers to keep the vehicle safety system happy?
