Does anyone know where I can buy replacement bulbs for the back light display for the small A/C temp and stereo display screens in my '97 XK8 ? I know how to remove the center console and access the back of the stereo and A/C area buy I can not seem to find these small bulbs anywhere, or is there and LED replacement that may work better ?

They are a Jaguar specific part. You have to get them from the Jag dealer. And they aren't cheap. I think I paid about $12 a piece for them.

I might have a couple of extras. Do you know the Jaguar part number? I have a bag with a few extra parts from the dealer. I'm pretty sure I have a couple of extra bulbs. But there are different sizes. If you can give me the part number you need I'll check the part numbers on the bags.

As for the bulbs, I need some too, so if anyone could provide the exact part numbers, that would be great.

 

I am having a difficult time finding the part numbers for these bulbs, they are very small with green glass.

 

JPEC lists LNA5180CA as "blue" which probably means it is the one you need. The other alternative is LNA5180BA, but that is listed as "clear".



These are available from Gaudin for $6 and $5 respectively. Expensive for a bulb, but better than $20. Googling seems to come up with a number of sources with varying prices.

Terry's Jags also has both clear and blue for $5.99 ea and can usually have to your door within 2 days.
