Default running rough at idle

on a cold startup I hear clattering, but it goes away quickly, but today it was louder than normal and Restrictive Performance light came on and went off once engine was fully up to temp.

But the last 2 weeks, after I came back from seeing my girls the car started running rough at idle and I have been stopped for a minute or two. I does not do it at stop signs or stopped for under two minutes.

I changed the plugs about a month ago and it has been running great, I do get the small leak code every 2-3 months ( haven't figured what is causing that yet) and the car is pig rich at startup but seems to be fine after it warms up.

yesterday evening at a long red light, the car almost died twice. The restrictive performance code happened on the way to work, so I have not pulled it yet, but has anybody else had this problem?

Randy, are the secondary tensioners upgraded on your car?

The startup clatter is concerning, and she will run very rough if the chain even on one side skipped a tooth. It is worth verifying. It is also possible they were changed, but repaced with the plastic ones again. If it skipped a second tooth, it would not be a happy situation.

car runs smooth as silk at idle, if I am stopped less than a minute. Does not run rough till it sits a couple of minutes.
