Cool . I bought one of those random 8 coils for a hundred bucks deals on eBay about 2 years ago and 15k miles. I had two die from coolant overflow tank and a bad coil cover seal; figured it was worth a go!

No complaints.

This is a follow on to the coil study.
I had moved the coil one last time from the front cylinder on the left side which is B5 cylinder to the second from the front left side which is B6. The engine had running without a fault for sometime. Today it faulted again. Code was PO356 which is cylinder B6 and that is where the bad coil is. I also got codes PO306 and P1314. I am sure I know the bad coil. But now I can't fine the codes listing for the XK8 to find out the cause for the other codes.

Where is the list of codes stored on the forum???

EZ,
You can find them on Gus' site here:

1314 is a warning:

P1314 is VERY bad news. You're damaging the cat. Fix the misfires.

Coils are a lot cheaper than cats...

That address on Gus' site mentioned on post 23 would be nice to have it listed as a sticky and identified as code and abbreviation data. I've had to look for it several times. Would be helpful listing all code tables a separate stickies.

I suppose most just download the workshop manual that's free on here and use it as it has those and more.
