Default SEAT BACK

Dealing with a '98 XK8 I am slowly putting back together. On the driver's (left) seat the leather cover is pulling out from behind the seat back cover or trim. The previous owner had the seats recovered after purchasing the kit from someone. The shop that actually did the work did a pretty poor job on the assembly of the seats. So I now have to pull the trim/cover off of the seat back, get the leather back where it should be and re-assemble. After searching the forum, the web, the manuals, the parts guide, I find there is not a good source for how to remove the seat back cover, find out what the mysterious "32 clips" are and re-assembling it. My questions are -

Is the seat back cover held on by the two screws at the bottom of the cover and the two beneath the escutcheon (which the previous owners shop conveniently broke off for me)?
Once the screws are removed, does the cover simply slide up and off?
What are the mysterious "32 clips"?
Are they upholstery clips, where to get them, what size are they?
On the clips I am making the assumption that the leather folds around the seat frame and the clips then hold the leather to the frame?

As you can tell I've not done any upholstery work before and from what I've seen, all the information makes the assumption that this knowledge is a given. As well, I have to repair half-a-- work done by the previous owner, I get to venture into new areas like this one. I hate to venture forward without some understanding of what I am in for as this is also a daily driver.

Thank you for your help in advance.

the leather cover has a rubber strip all the way around it, the clips are U-shaped with barbs on each corner. The clip fits on the rubber strip and gets wedged into the channel on the seat back and the barbs will catch into the channel to keep the seat cover in place

Thanks, I think I've got the idea now. Rather expensive little clips.

Does the back cover come off after removing the four screws? Two at the bottom and the two at the escutcheon?

You may be able to find similar clips at a local well-respected automotive interior and convertible tops shop....
