I picked up a pair at a junk yard that happed to have an XK8 in it. So, check your local DIY yards and you might get lucky.

Bought a pair on EBay a few years ago because I liked the way they looked. About $25.00 at the time.

I might have a few in my 'pile-o-parts'.(my shop looks like an episode from 'HOARDERS')
All my cars have the caps so I will check for the extras.

The plastic caps were available for ADAPTIVE CONTROL DAMPING (NJA3975BB) or EXCEPT ADAPTIVE CONTROL DAMPING (NJA3975AB) prior to VIN 038359.
After that, the EXCEPT ADAPTIVE CONTROL DAMPING (NJA3975AB) was discontinued and only the ADAPTIVE CONTROL DAMPING (NJA3975BB) was available.

The difference is the little cutout for the wires to the damper. The EXCEPT ADAPTIVE CONTROL DAMPING has no cutout.

All the part numbers are now NLA from JLR.

They clearly pop off and are lost. I didn’t know they existed until saw them on my fourth Jag.
