Sold the Jag
Well all good things must come to an end and I sold my 2002 XKR. Want to thank all of you for the various info and advice you passed my way, as a parting gift I would like to share my table that I crafted from a spare trunk (boot). I loved the car but the final straw was the use of dissimilar metal in the wiring system and the resulting non-stop i
issues, I cant get past that. Well it was a beautiful car, none the less

welcome to the joy. Not many in NE Oklahoma either. AFAIK, I've got the only XK variant in the state north of Tulsa. Last one i saw (XK8) was in Dallas during a recent trip. I despise seeing myself coming my way in another car, so most modern cars are not on my must have list.
Funny, in this same (home)town, population 30,000, I was first attracted to the fine lines of Jaguar in 1964 or '65. On my walk to Jr High I passed my the Price Tower every day, twice. The Price Tower is Frank Lloyd Wright's only skyscraper. If you don't know who that is, it's time to Wikipedia. Every day I got to see in HC Price Sr and HC Price Jr's parking spaces two matching FHC e types. To me, a 13 year old kid, I couldn't have more in awe had they been flying saucers. Still am.
