Source for Throttle Body Heater Hose

Source for Throttle Body Heater Hose
I need the heater hose that goes from the Tee fitting behind the driver's head to the top of the Throttle Body. (I think this is the Throttle Body Heater Return Hose.) I ordered the only heater hoses I could find for the '97 to '02 4.0L engines but neither of the Throttle Body heater hoses matched the ones on my car (see image below). I need the longer of the two hoses shown. I can't find any hose that resembles this from any source. I can make a piece of 'straight' 3/8" heater hose fit but it will wind around behind the Throttle Body and be far less than satisfactory.

Don't understand. I have an '02 with the 4.0L. Which version of the motor does that make it? And how does that help with parts selection? All of the '97 to '02 4.0L parts SHOULD be the same. Why are they not and how to I find the correct parts if the only thing the parts sources ask for is the year, make, and model?

I would recommend you take a look at www.sngbarratt.com website and download the catalog for your year vehicle. The 2002 XK8 has the AJ27 engine. You will find they have 3 different catalogs depending on year. I think you need the 1999 to 2002 catalog

That part changed with the intro of the 99MY / AJ27 motor. The # for the hose on the left in your pic. is NNE3976CA.
I have a new bagged one due to a previous blonde moment...

I don't believe this is the correct hose:
From JagBits website:
COOLANT HOSE FITS 1999-2003 XJ8 XJR, 2000-2002 XK8. From expansion tank to 3-way connector (NNE3976CA)
It's also the wrong shape.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
I may have disregarded your suggesting prematurely...
I used the 'chatbot' feature at SNG Barratt and sent an image of the hose I'm looking for. They also think it's the NNE3976CA hose. So I'll but one and hope for the best. The worst thing that can happen is that it won't fit.

But maybe there's more to the story. See the next to last post in this thread...

Here's the bagged one I have, which looks very much like your first pic. A tape measure shows the length is ~10"
On the right is the correct one for my 98 AJ26. NCA3976AD. It's ~6" long. The part #s are similar.
What doesn't help is that ALL the parts diagrams (including Heritage) I looked at picture them as being the same shape (as on the right). JEPC does at least give the correct part numbers.

Trim the new hose
Here's the bagged one I have, which looks very much like your first pic. A tape measure shows the length is ~10"
As I look at the two hoses it seems the bends are correct so I was wondering if the left hose can be trimmed to match the original house?

Thanks,
I guess that would work, although my goof was during the winter PM cycle at the beginning of last year so waiting for the correct one didn't hold anything up.
I hate throwing serviceable stuff away, so I've put it on one side in case someone ever needs one ( I have all sorts of bits and pieces like that, sigh)...

Just to jump in the fray ... I am accumulating hoses and gaskets for my octopus / valley hose replacement, and I picked up an incorrect hose for my 2006 XK8. I got a URO parts NCA3945CD "heater feed hose" - one of the valley hoses. According to the Rock catalog it fits XK8 1998-2003. In case anybody wants it. I later ordered the correct one - AJ86326. You really have to be on your toes to make sure you get the right parts.
