Hi, I have a 99 XK8. The speedometer is not operating. I also have an antilock brake error and a stabltrak error. I cannot find a sensor on the transmission, so I suspect the speedometer gets a signal from a wheel sensor. I cleaned all of the wheel sensors and no change, so I ordered four. They are cheap and easy.

My next guess is the anti-lock controller.

Am I on the right path, Can the antilock brake controller make the speedometer not operate?

The speedometer gets it's signal from the ABS module.(on the CAN bus)
