Returned from my 35-40 mile drive with Satisfaction. Earlier we changed the fluid (Mercon), filter, bridge seals, 4 tubes and connector with ZF parts,but had a Squawk on downshift. Drove the car and allowed the Trans to reset its program with the instructions derived from other posting. Due to my healing process, the car was not used much, but the Squawk lessened but did not disappear. Since Ford used the ZF design in their 6R80 which is virtually same, they had a problem in early years with that noise.. Since the Jaguar additive is NLA, we tried the Motorcraft XL16 Kit they produced for their early transmissions thru 2013. Initially it did not help, but with use; seems like it was successful. After several mile, the pedal was punched and no noise when kick down happened. That occurred at 55MPH and went up to 70 MPH without any noise or Squawk. The XL16 is a 2 part kit and you use only portion of 1 part. Perhaps we failed to use enough of the additive so the delay in noise reduction was slower. Anyway, we are pleased.
