Sticky Top Latch Cover

Sticky Top Latch Cover
Hi all.
After I lubricated all hinges on my covertible top, I discovered some strange behaviour of the "cover" around the "fork" catching the top to lock it. The "cover" followed the "fork" when this was coming up to grab the top. It was probably sticking to the "fork" after I sprayed some WD 40 on the mechanism. After cleaning with some alcohol, everything was back to normal.
First picture is normal behaviour.
Second picture shows the "cover" sticking to the "fork". (You can see my finger holding it, this because it was after the cleaning and it was falling back to normal position).
WARNING WARNING WARNING
When you stop the top in midway position, it will start moving and retract the "fork" all by itself after some seconds. Watch your fingers.
