Stuck deck lid

Cannot open the trunk, valet light in dashboard lights when I activate the dashboard switch.....also the black key when used will not open the trunk, it does make a sound however....any thoughts appreciated...

Keep working the master key in the lock.
You might need some penetrating oil sprayed and then work some more.

(PS please use the key in the lock every few months to keep the lock FREE!!!!!!!!)
