Stupid questions...
Ok, I apologize as I am lacking the manual.
Can the antenna be lowered while the cd player is running?
I have to back the car out of the garage before my wife can get in. Is there an unlock button somewhere or, do i need to just reach over and open the door?
Will it cause engine damage if I don't use 91 octane?
Is there an update for the 2002 DVD navigation? My street is in a field according to the nav.
How do you lower the "bing" volume for the navigation?
Thanks

Antena will always stay up until sound system is turned off. You need to add a switch to drop it down or keep it down while CD is on.(search forums for this)
I think i tried to lightly move the driver's door handle out to unlock the passenger side.
High octane is best for these engines.
Nav unit is less than perfect (do a search to find out all the issues).

Check the FAQ sticky above for info on your questions.
The standard Jaguar operation is for the antenna to be up anytime the radio head is operating. Like alfred said: check the FAQ sticky's above.
The owner's manual is available in the FAQ sticky's above.
Octane requirement is a never ending debate covered in the FAQ sticky above.
Buy a hand held GPS for about a 1/10 of the built in system. No updates available. The 'bling' volume is beyond my limited experience.

2. Reach over and pull her silver handle or push your handle in to lock your door than pull it back out and it will unlock both doors.
3. Use 91 that's what the engine was designed for.
4. No upgrade for the Alpine Nav system. I live in no mans land too.
5. Before you ask there isn't a repair manual in printed book form, it's on CD. Do a search for JTIS and you can download the program from a link found in your search in one of these forums.
