Summer storage

Summer storage
I am used to storing vehicles for the cold weather, but I am now in the new (for me) position of putting my Jag up for the hot months of the year in North Carolina when I go north. For many reasons I can’t take it with me.
It will be in my home garage, attached to a battery tender, with a full tank of gas, plus new oil and filter. Are there recommendations for other things that should be attended to before leaving?
Thanks.

Put stabilizer in the fuel. Drive til empty, go to the gas station, and add the stabilizer before filling up. Sta-bil I think is what most go for, but even Techron has fuel-stabilizing additives, I believe.
I think some people also slightly over-inflate their tires to prevent flat-spotting, but I've never done it.

Some would say to add a can of stabilizer to your gas tank and put some fresh dryer sheets in your interior to help with the mold smells that may or may not develop. If your car is enclosed in a garage, you may want to crack your windows to help with ventilation as long as no destructive critters can get in through there....
And please send some of your cooler weather from wherever you plan to spend the summer to those of us who must remain here in North Carolina during those miserable months. My goal every summer is just to survive until autumn without melting and sweating away....

obtain a rodent bait station and use the Warfarin type poison. put it under the engine compartment. rodent damage is like nothing you have ever experienced before in automotive ruination worse than everything other than perhaps fire. trying to figure out what is worse right now as i help a friend deal with such a disaster, the damage or the smell. the latter makes one consider fire.
