Default Supercharger oil

I intend replacing the oil I my supercharger, the car is 2002 XKR. I live in Australia and want to be sure I purchase the correct oil. If someone in Australia has undertaken this work could they please let me know the best place to source the oil?
Cheers
Ian

Hi Motorcarman, thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately when I tried to order it from Amazon this is what and it said:

"This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location."

Thanks
Ian

Can you get the GM supercharger oil ? That’s what I use, and I suspect many others do as well. It’s the same thing as the AC-DELCO supercharger oil posted in the previous post. Any dealer selling GM cars will have it, as well as most auto parts stores.

i would think it’s available worldwide. Well, maybe not in North Korea.

Hi Zray, thanks for the info. The GM oil is what I am after but it appears to be very hard to get here in Australia. I have contacted a company in New South Wales who may be able to supply it for me but I am just waiting for a reply.

Cheers

You could always ask Powerhouse in the UK. I bought my supercharger service kit from them - they say they ship to Australia, so worth asking if you can't find it locally.

I got mine from Powerhouse in the UK. Less than half the price Holden wanted for the GM stuff, including freight across the world. It says on the bottle it's made by Mobil.

If you do get the kit from them the tube they provide is way too large in diameter to fit down inside the housing. I used about 100mm of non glue filled heat shrink, shrunk down on the end of the tube, this worked quite well to suck the old oil out.

This is the colour of the oil that came out of mine:

It's very worthwhile changing it.

Thanks to the people that gave me some information regarding this. After much searching I managed to find a company here in Australia. It comes as a kit with two bottles of ACDelco 10-4041 supercharger oil, and an extractor.

If anyone else in Australia is interested, the cost was AUD$ 61.09 (11.09 Shipping). The company is Malex Motorsports NSW.

Cheers
Ian
