thermostat houseing
Hi guys,could any of you please talk me through or send me a link to the full step by step proses of replacing the thermostat housing and do I need any spursiffic tools,thanks

When I did mine I followed testpoint's advice and broke the plastic to pieces so I could access the bolts. No special tools needed after breaking it up.
I also replaced the bolts with Allen Head cap screws much simpler to reinstall.

This job is EASY. I did use crows feet type of wrench to get to the 4 bolts that hold the unit down to the top of the motor. When you are looking at this, on the FRONT of the black plenum behind the Tstat housing there is a metal plate, if you take that off it makes it much easier to get the back right bolt off of the housing. Be careful when taking the bolts out that one does not get away from you and rolls UNDER the plenum.
