Pry both Dash Speakers up gently with a Putty Knife and make sure that the Dash Mounting Bolts are tight. Also, the Center Bolt under the plastic cover.

Dashboard rattel-usually low pitch. Or does it sound like plastci hitting glass- the front vents?

Try opening the hood and tightening the diagonal cross-members (steel bars across corners of engine compartment). When they are loose you will hear a relatively hard knock when you go over bumps that almost sounds like it comes out of the windshield. Jac

Low pitch probably rules out the defrost vents, but just to cover all bases, here is a fix if that is the problem: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...nts-faq-45338/

How funny, a 'squeak and rattle kit' issued to dealers. I enjoyed that read, thanks Bob.
