No chance to keep both, or hide the XK8 away somewhere in a barn? I know I wish I had held on to my old MK1 TT.

 

No! The car was and still is a daily drive and it was the wife's car and we both agree it will be hard to give up. With all the money and time spent on it it will be a great car for someone else.

I sold my 2005 S-Type this past May after 9.5 years of ownership. I waited for the right buyer and he eventually came along. While I miss it, I do not regret selling it. I hope you will come to the same conclusion....

Gus, What a great choice for the replacement.
We have also looked at the XF and unable to pull the trigger on anything until the wife's angle is better.
Don't leave us, we all need your direction. Know we have all your notes, but you sure save us lots of time looking.

I was about to go, XF isn't necessarily an upgrade; but for a daily, it probably is a more reliable and easier daily.

What submodel XF? R, Supercharged, AWD, RWD, 4.2, 5.0, etc? They have definitely grown on me as a possible XJR replacement...
