I'm looking into getting my rims repaired today. Then I'll put new tires on the rear. Mine look like they were over inflated and the tread in the middle is thin on the rear. The fronts look ok.
It was like that when I got it almost 2 years ago. I'm still debating about the brand but I won't be getting summer only tires, 245f 255r is the combo I have. TM
Hey Tom,

I think I should be grandfathered out of the OBD and emissions/smog testing in MA (15 yrs or older) so while I think my XK8 should pass, it's one less thing to worry about.
Oh and I just found out that the company that administers the inspection software was subject to a malware hack so the entire system has been down the last two days and will be down through the weekend! Whoops.

I agree with you on the tires, I'll just get some all seasons and am debating continental or the michelin Pilots. I tried to get the Generals (a little less expensive and made by continental), but they're backordered and don't know when they'll be back in stock.

Cheers,
Norm
