Hi Guys, I have to tell you I am very happy with the quality of work supplied by Top Hydraulics. All three rams were overhauled with new seals. I did go for the complete kit which supplied Six hoses along with the ram upgrade. All hoses are smaller. I understand made with Kevlar. Seem quite sturdy. Smaller hoses make for easier install in tight areas as well. All hoses were well marked with their intended location. as a precaution, I color coded old hose before removal. Did one hose at a time to insure. TH supplied a very simple plastic. ( thanks guys) connector. works great connecting the old hose to the new, I then pulled from the top header hose down along the windshield pillar. My XK8 is a '99. Tell tale signs some work had been done prior, I assume under warranty as the same old bad hoses were installed. I did not need to remove fuse box. Removal of the kick panel, fuse box cover as well as the door weatherstrip next to the fuse box was all that was needed. I found this part a snap. As some report, I did not remove the console. Hose ran alonside, just pulled out carpet from under the console. Did not remove the chrome sill plates. Could not as I think they may be welded. Someone know the trick. I just pulled carpet out from under. Warning of over tighten the hose connectors. the last thing I wanted to do. My method, tighten the connector till the movement of the hose in the connector was tight, then went another 1/2 turn. ( no leaks). If you have specific questions or need instructions to any areas, please let me know. The job does take a bit of time, not hard. Do organize. I used oil filter boxes from my stock of new filters for my extended fleet to keep alike bolts screws, etc in similar areas for easier install.
