is there a spring kit to assist with the heavy trunk opening I bought some universal springs but the geometry of the hinge prevents a spring assisted kit

I bought these trunk lift supports from Amazon a few months ago when one of my original struts failed. They are pretty strong and do assist with the trunk opening fairly well. The price was not very high at about $15 for the pair.
