I know this thread is old. But if anyone wants to trade let me know.
I have chrome. I want non-chrome, preferably white.
I know there are many ppl out there that want chrome.

Or if anyone knows where I can buy one. The dealership is selling but waay to expensive for a piece of plastic.

I have seen a chrome one for about $300.00 on EBAY. I think it was new. I remember there is a trick to mounting on a earlier car. You have to drill bigger holes or something because there is a difference in the mounting depth. I don't remember how the wire is attached.

That would be an X150...completely different set up..... If you particularly want it white I would simply paint it...


However if you meant 2001 same applies unless you wanted the older style

I have a 1997 xk8 and just got a chrome plinth aftermarket from the xk store which has the logo trunk button. You asked earlier how to make this functional and was wondering what you found out?
