Default Ugh.. Ink hadn't even dried on the title yet and...(edit, updated after pics 1/11)

I'm sick. One of the guys at my work didn't see the oll girl parked next to him and well, here we go. It got something coolant related, not sure what yet as the hood wont open. I'll wait till the adjuster see's it. This should be interesting.

Thats a crying shame, sorry to hear that.

Hopefully it all goes well for you and is resolved quickly.

Are you still talking to the work mate??

Hehe yeah he was just as upset as I was. Its hard to tell in the pic but it tweeked the bed on his truck pretty good. I saw it happen outside my office window too. It was all in slow motion haha. When the headlight popped it was like a gunshot. Broke my heart when I heard it.

What a sickener!

At least there can't be any controversy over blame.

Bad way to start out, but looks like it is a fairly easy fix.

On the bright side, you got the first ding out of the way early. Maybe that's the last as well.

I really sympathize with you speaking as someone who will park at the ends of a parking lot to avoid parking next to anyone. This reminds me of something that happened several years ago after buying my wife her new (at the time) 2000 Acura TL. We were at a gas station and I was filling while she was in the passenger seat. A van at the pump across from her started moving slowly right into the passenger door. We saw it coming but were too taken by surprise to do anything.

Bummer. The "Coolant" related issue might be the windshield washer reservoir which is the item with blue top in my blurry picture.

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought that too but its definitely coolant. Only drips when its running.

I would think that all should go well with the auto insurance assuming that the government doesn't feel it is yet necessary to mandate Obamauto coverage

Every single time I do this, I come back and find someone parked right next to me. Never fails...

Wow, that's tough to swallow. Hang in there, I'm sure the waiting for repair will be hard. Let us kniw how it comes out. Saw your pics in your intro - beautiful car, and it will be again.

That's really sad to start out like that. And to watch it happen....

Can relate to parking issue too. Zero shopping dents and want to keep it that way. I could park a mile away in the middle of a field and come back to find two huge 4X4's either side.
