Default Unseated an injector - now it's leaking

Gentleman,

When I was pulling the valve cover etc off to do the upper tenisoners I wasn't paying attention and accidentally unseated one of the injectors when not watching what I was taking off (the half circle injector metal clamp things). I tried to reseat it by pushing it in and then putting the metal clamp thing back on it and tightening it back down. For some reason it didn't seat properly and was leaking. I tried again and sill no luck. Is there a secret to getting it to seat correctly? Or might I have damaged an o'ring? Any advice or assistance would be much appreciated.

Most injectors have "O" rings on both ends. You normally have to replace the ring and then lube it up with oil to slide it back into place with a side to side rocking motion.

Pulled it out and it had a failed Oring. Fixed it and we are back in business Thank you for your response sir.
