upgrading headlamps

upgrading headlamps

I have a 2002 XK8 and was wondering if anyone has upgraded the bulbs in their headlamps? I was thinking about switching to a brighter one (maybe xenon?) but concerned about finding one that fits. Any suggestions?

Someone recommended the Sylvania silverstar for a slight increase in headlamp output over the stock halogens. If you want to venture out further with an HID setup, that's definately the way to go if feasible, but those headlights are crazy to pull, let alone modify them with the bulbs. It is an option for you though.
