What is this "parking lot" of which you speak?

I found her like this one night after I parked her at the Washington DC Fountain Pen (Tyson's Corner) Show last year. The BRG doesn't show well as this pic was nearly black (shot at night) and I had to blast the brightness levels in Photoshop.

I had parked her at the far edge of the covered lot. My buds found her there and added the orange. There was one right on the roof, an orange dunce cap. But I removed that before taking the photo.

regards

david

After all the dings and dents on my car, 12 AND COUNTING im getting some safety cones as well.

Folks make mistakes all the time.
Also great for flat tires or breakdowns-the tow driver and police can easily find you since your car sits low.

Mind if I ask you, I see your car is painted, have you invested in undercoating your chassis? This is a chassis maintenance requirement.

Default Nearing the end!! Installing the bling!!

We started putting the car back together today. Swapped the springs for mina lowering, replaced the front shock mounts, put front fenders and nose on, grille, lights,
In the pics it still links black!! But, oh, it's not in person!! The chrome details look so right against this color!! And the older XJS badge re invented with the later model chrome ring looks amazing. I'd put this car up against an Aston Martin, looks wise, any day of the week!

Kills me the whole thing, except the bonnet still has to be wet block sanded and polished. I still may drive it to a big car get together in Charlotte NC this Saturday.

Default Can anyone steer me to a DIY or vid of rear shock removal?

Well, spoke too soon. My mechanic is harping a bear of a time with the rear shocks. Any good DIY or vids?

Wait for it, wait for it.......

NO LEAPER!!
I'm so happy with the paint and my new custom growler badge, even I couldn't put it on!!

That being said, I'm playing a trick on my painter!! He's begging me not to put one on so I've got to mess with him!! I have a chrome one I have epoxied and cut off the spring. Sanded bottom smooth and used magnetic adhesive backed tape and I'm going to put it on tell him I drilled the bonnet!! LOL!!!!
I think it'd be fun to have at car shows too!! Mess with people!!
