What socket to torque diff bolts?

Default What socket to torque diff bolts?
Can't get 17mm to fit and 18mm is too big.
What size are these nuts and what have other members used to torqe them up?

17 millimeters is equal to
0.6693 inches

edit:

And it went downhill from there.

I slipped a digit in the mental conversion. 0.625 <> 0.675

Bob of course will be right

I have always used the 5/8 as a 16mm, as most sets of wrenches don't seem to have the 16mm.

They are 11/16" like they have been since 1961!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11/16 - I was expecting metric, but this is bang on and I can get a 3/8 drive socket back out to my torque wrench.

One of the buyers at Jaguar must have bought a very large box of 11/16 nuts back in 1961 - no J.I.T. supply chains then )
