You have the XKR coolant tank/reservoir running in to a short rubber hose that runs into the right of a T connector that runs into 2 plastic hoses. What is that part? Or if it's not sold separately what hose do I need?

The plastic connector should be fine. IF IT IS DAMAGED,LET ME KNOW FIRST SO WE CAN USE A BRASS 3 WAY 3/8" CONNECTOR,5/16 RUBBER HOSE OVER THE PLASTIC ONES WITH BLACK RTV AND CLAMPS.

Put a garbage bad over the valve cover area so coolant runs to the ground.

Remove that metal funny looking clamp using wire snips or pliers or a grinder, the other with 1/4" socket.

Remove the short rubber hose, clean off both plastic ends with an sos pad or green sponge.

Buy a piece of hose, buy 1/4 clamps, cut to fit, apply black rtv to the plastic ends, instal the hose and clamps .

Remove the coil pack cover, remove the coils(7mm socket),remove the coil boots, spray the inside of the boot and coil pack springs with electrical contact cleaner only, let dry, clean out the water and oil from the gallery using paper towels, remove the spark plugs and replace with new.

Remove your maf sensor from the air box housing (2 Phillip screws),using the same electrical cleaner, spray the element that measures air(silver rod) with the same electrical contact cleaner, let dry then re-instal.

Top off coolant.Replace the passenger side spark plugs and clean the coils as well.

Total Time 30 minutes Parts $80

1-Gallon 50/50 extended life coolant,1-Bottle Electrical Contact Cleaner Spray,8 spark plugs,1-black rtv gasket maker,1 ft 3/8 hose(bring old hose with you to verify size, pack of 1/4" clamps

I'll ask the same question - what is the T Connector?

Given the short connector hose from the Expansion Tank to the T Connector has one original Norma Clip and one aftermarket Worm Drive Clip, someone has been there before.

I can't find it in the Parts Catalogue.

aode06: Yes it's damaged, I was going to remove and replace it but the thing was brittle so the 2 parts going in to the plastic hoses broke right off inside. Now I'm having trouble removing them!

Graham: Yes must of been my independent mechanic there before. I looked couldn't find it in the parts catalog as well.

My 02 XKR has the same 3 way connector and NO it doesn't show in the jtis or my SNG Barratt catalog. Since those lines are the rigid type it's very difficult to get them on / off, use a heat gun if possible. Good luck sourcing a replacement, probably a breaker but if so have them leave a bit of the orig hoses on and remove them yourself, otherwise the above suggestion should work fine.
