Default What's in the bag?

I found this in the spare tire area of my 2003 XKR. It's got some tire valve looking things inside of it, but not sure for what purpose these parts are to be used.

Thoughts?

Got the wheels without the valve stems?

That is the adapter kit for filling the BBS wheels with air. I believe they had a 'hidden' valve stem.

That bag and the stuff in it is like gold--just try pricing this little kit from a Jaguar dealer.

If you have the BBS wheels you will need the valve adapter. You can use a penny instead of the "T" tool to remove the threaded cover over the valve hole so the only must-have part of the kit is the valve adapter. In fact you should try and find extras of these from BBS or wherever, just in case.

Yeah that is the same kit that came with the BBS wheels on my VDP. I still have mine thankfully.

Thanks; figured it had something to do with the valves. Funny thing is I just had the two front tires replaced but there was no mention by the mechanic of needing that kit to inflate the tires, so I'm not sure that he used it or had something similar on hand.

Ok, I'll bite - what's a replacement kit cost from the dealer? Maybe BBS sells it directly. Hoping I don't need to find out.
