Wheel Speed Sensor-Is it worn out?
I got one of those asc/trac not available lights, then after turning it off and on again the ABS light came on. Then later the check engine light came on and stayed on with the ABS light. Took it to a jag mechanic and the computer said left rear wheel speed sensor failure. After reading the thread about cleaning them I took off that wheel and cleaned it. I've attached pics of all of this.
QuestionA: The warning lights are off now, is that just because he reset them with the computer or is it the cleaning/fix I did?
QuestionB: From the pic of the actual sensor attached, it does look worn down so you can see the three metal prongs on the bottom. Is this indication of needed replacement?
QuestionC: the lower radiator hose blew off earlier but with a screw type hose clamp is now fine. I noticed this other hose is deformed, it was loose but I moved it up. It has now slipped a bit. From the attached pic should I change it? Why am I getting the hoses slipping like that?

A: You've sorted it.
B: They look like that. There are a number of posts about checking the resistance to see if they and the wiring are all okay.
C: Change the deformed hoses after cleaning up where they fit, maybe the clips are worn if they're slipping. But maybe you're getting too much pressure in the system, that would be worth checking out, it might be a head gasket or something. Sit tight, I'm sure someone with a lot more knowledge than I have will be along soon.
