Default Why different coloured Spare keys

When I got my car it came with 4 keys and two fobs. I have 2 black keys and 2 green keys. The 2 blacks keys are identical but the green keys have different coloured growlers on them one gold and one silver, is there a reason for this.

The BLACK headed keys are MASTER keys which will open all the locks. The Green headed keys are VALET keys which will not open the glove box or luggage compartment.

As you are in the UK, I very much doubt you would ever hand your vehicle to a stranger to park so the valet keys can be left at home.

Bristol Defender,

As Graham has indicated, the Green Keys are Valet Keys! I don't know why one has a Gold Jaguar and the other a Silver....but try them both out to see if they will work with the Valet Button pushed in! The only thing you should be able to unlock with them should be the Ignition and the Doors!!! The Glove Box and Boot can not be opened with a Green Headed Key! That way you can keep your 45 in the Glove Box and your Gold in the Boot!! and the Valet can't get to them............Pretty slick.....HUH?
