Wind noise at different speeds
At the dealer we used to put a dollar around the door windows, and see if we could pull it out. If we could, the window needed to be adjusted, or sometimes you could get away with putting the small vinyl tubing for fish tanks in the seal, to make a tighter fit.....Just a couple of ideas.....be cool....Mike
so... I checked the windows passenger side, sits perfectly according to the pdf posted earlier and I cannot pull dollars tru the gap, so thats probably not the source of the noise.
I guess I'll just live with it and assume that the way it is supposed to be.
Dynamat: I installed those in my Citroen SM during the restoration, the body was completely stripped and sanded, all factory sound proofing removed. There is some difference to identical cars with factory sound proofing, but to be honest it is not an exorbitant change. However it is easy to install, and it really sticks to the panels, even after years.

I want to post an update on this as part of the noise has gone.
Interestingly the noise around the windshield / a-column has disappeared after the rust treatment the car received during last winter. I repaired not only the hole in the passenger boot but also removed major rust behind the front suspension frame.
I can just guess, but possibly the wind got in one of these holes and caused the noise.
The humming noise from the front is still there. Maybe it goes away when I fix... lets see... maybe after adjusting the valves?
Cheers
