Default Windblox windscreen

Has anyone ever heard of these windscreens. They attack to your headrests. Seem to get good reviews. Google Windblox. I'm wondering if they would mar the headrests some.

Personally, I would not want my head bouncing on strap buckles !

It kinda reminds me of this one that jag forums member alfred made for his car. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...highlight=wind

I think this one would be a little more effective since it's closer to the passengers, it just seems to me that the wind would cause it to shake and buffet. And like h20boy said, it seems like the buckles could be irritating.

Here's a picture of the one growler is talking about, in case you haven't googled it.

Having said that, it's only $88!!! I just saw the price. I figured it would be $200 or $300. For that price it's worth a try. If you don't like it, you're only out $88. You should get one and let other forum members know what you think of it.

The info on how they make it is interesting, too. They cut it with a 5000 watt laser. Lasers amaze me. How does a laser cut a material that is transparent? I had laser eye surgery about 10 years ago, and I wondered why the laser beam didn't just pass straight through my cornea and hit my retina. DON'T TRY TO EXPLAIN LASERS TO ME IN THIS THREAD! I don't want to hijack Growler's thread. Send me a PM or start a new thread in the Off Topic section.

Is it obvious that I've been drinking tonight? Or do I always come across as a smartass?

having the wind deflector strapped to the headrest will look odd if like me you are 6 ft tall and your pasenger is 5 ft. My seat is all the way back with the passenger seat forward most of the way. I might build another style/shape that still fits onto the rear seat belts this spring if I find the time.

That one from Windblox has multiple slots in each side so it can be adjusted vertically to fit each seat's headrest position, but that doesn't help if like you said, one seat is back and one seat is forward. My wife is 5'2" and I'm 6'4" but we both keep out seats all the way back, so it wouldn't be an issue for me.

I have a thought, how about a plexiglass deflector that mounts to the little side pieces similar to the way the Adamesh deflector mounts?

Well, about that GPS precision post......

Serously Rev, this place would not be half the fun or as useful without you. I was cheering when you did not sell your car !

I still might sell it this spring/summer. It all depends on how my business does. If it continues to do well I might move up to that Maserati that I fell in love with. Don't worry, I won't sell the Jag until I buy the Maz, and they aren't very common.
