windows not going up when I close the door

When my windows would dip down but not return up, I had no other electrical problems with the car.
I read on this forum that a new battery would probably fix the problem.
It sounded a bit ridiculous, as I had no problem starting the car.
I did replace the battery since I figured that after 14 years it owed me nothing and it solved the problem.

Thanks for your reply - but as I’ve already said, my battery was fitted new very recenty.

Default Replacement battery suggestion

Find your local battery distributor. Ask for a “Second”. The only thing that makes it a second is some cosmetic blemish on the case. Price will be less than half of factory original. More importantly life will be the same. Have been using a “second” for seven years with no memory issues (not counting my own.....)
