XK8 Alarm & Won't Run
Hi y'all, I put new plugs and coils in my 97 due to a coil misfire. Ran great. Things just seem to go wrong from sitting here in Central Oregon. It gets fairly cold 0° and pretty hot 125°. Car was running fine after the tune-up. Went out to start it and alarm went off, wouldn't start and the flashers started flashing. I open the the trunk and unplugged the square fuses that were clicking, which shut down the alarm and flashers. The car started. I moved it over, shut it of. Then I tried to start it, but it wouldn't and the automatic electric windows would drop a little, but wouldn't go back up when closing the door. So now the window won't go up and the car won't start. I disconnected the battery and held the cables together for a few minutes and put back on. It didn't do anything. Got pissed and let it sit for a few weeks and now, here I am looking for information. So it quit just from sitting. Im not an electrical person, so my brain doesn't function in that arena.. Help

First thing to do is get the battery charged and check it holds 12.7 V. If you can get it out, you should get it checked at a garage which should be free of charge.
This car does funny things if the battery is bad.

I took the battery to Les Schwab and they said it was alright and to charge it on low for a long time. My charger has a 90 minute timer so I charged it on low for like 6 times. The battery is 750 cold crank amp battery and it won't charge past 600 maximum.
