I am looking for a the black plastic piece that goes under the front bumper for a 2003 XK8.
Tried the SNG Barrett website but it doesn't work.
Are they out of business?
Know of any other sources?

British Parts (Richard in UK) delivered this to me in Bahrain. Not cheap so some Forum members do a marine/boat fibre glass epoxy type repair. Part is not fully visual to a bystander and only meant to protect front underbody. Mine was too far gone

 

Yes it is. The one on the right anyway. I have one like the one on the left. LOL

I don't thing that the one shown will work for models later than 2003?

Actually, it's for 97-04. The 05-06 model uses C2N2744.

 

This called an "Undertray" order it by the Model year as they are different on the 2005- 2006....Also, they are expensive and cost a lot to ship.. Be ready for $350. - $400. Bucks.……..They changed the design when they changed the Nose Cone to 2 Grills...………..

That price would really make me consider to learn how to make a new one with fibreglass.

 

I ordered one earlier this week for my 2001 XKR, $365 including shipping, from Terry's Jaguar. I had some other parts on the order and I suspect they gave me heavily discounted shipping on the oversize undertray because I've been a good customer. Jaguar Annapolis is showing one for $295, but they also wanted $85 for shipping to Georgia. Strangely, it looks like prices have jumped across the board from all online sources compared to what I was seeing last weekend.

 

Also, remember that the XK8&7R's use a Deflector Panel which is mounted in front of each front wheel. These little pieces of Plastic cost about $35.00 "Bucks" apiece and if the Undertray is torn up or missing, they probably are too....The 2005/2006 do not use these...so, don't let the Parts Guy talk you into buying them!

A Word of caution!!!! "Be sure to make sure your Undertray has been replaced if you have any work done such as Front-end repair, Steering or any of the Coolers and things that set in Front of the Engine. Those Guys like to forget putting them back on!
