I have a problem with the drivers door window on my 1997 xk8
conv
I have a drivers door open warning on the dash, window
doesn't work at all so it wont seat when the door is
closed. the mirrors don't work either side and although the
passenger window operates from the passenger side it won't
from drivers side. I have swapped over the door control
modules so I don't think its that,also changed the micro
switch on the latch and put a new battery on all to no avail. this problem has been
coming and going intermittently for about a year and is
getting worse. Any help will be much appreciated.

 

I had similar problems that were cured by cleaning the door loom electrical connector and making sure it was properly seated.
