hi anybody no why my wing mirrors dont change when i shine a torch on the rear view mirror only when i connect power to the connector the back of the wing mirror they both go black is there a relay or ecu problem if so which one and where thanks nick

 

hi forgot to add that the rear view mirror works fine no problem with that one

 

are you asking if the side mirrors are auto-dimming?

 

yes they are auto dimming but are not working with the interia mirror only when i add power to the terminal on the back of the wing mirrors

 

If the side mirrors are auto-dimming that's a new one to me.

Mine is an 01 and they auto dim with the center mirror.

 

I never bother turning on the autodim feature on the main rearview mirror so I guess I should try it out and see if the side mirrors also dim.

sweet. yes mine have dimmin side mirrors as well...mind u...i gt it on my bimmer 635 csi `84 model :P most of german cars have dimmed mirrors ....smart
