ThomasL,

I didn't mean to send the message (3) times! I wonder how that happened?

I looked up the LED High Beam kit that I installed....The CarID price has gone down a little to $99.99. It's the G7 LED kit made by Lumen. It's 6500K, 4000lm....

When I installed them.... I removed the old Halogen set-up but continued using the reflector... the stem of the LED Bulb sticks through the reflector that's inside the housing....It really looks good in there! an bright...

certainly with mine most people don't realise they are looking at a car coming up to its 17th birthday. So a few modern additions, like the lighting, aren't necessarily out of place.

That said, mine is 99.9% original - the only new thing is the sat nav, but it looks as close to OEM as I could make it.

do you have a link to the topic on your sat nav addition ?

ftypedreams…

The Phillips DTRL Kit is no longer available but Osram has a newer better one…Go to: Car Bulbs - Wholesale Ordering System Look for: Osram LEDriving DRL Kit...$108.79 free shipping... The Light is one LED type Bulb about 7" long...not 8 little LED Bulbs, just one long light and it looks great....The Phillips DTDL didn't last a year as the Controller burned-out....I guess he Bulbs were still good but one afternoon the little Box/Controller would turn the Lights off and was very HOT...I had to cut the wires to shut it down.....Actually I only needed the Controller but I like the Osram Lights much better...also, www.powerbulbs.com has them...
