Jaguar offers a BOOT LID SPOILER for the XKR. Primer Painted (HJB6160ABXXX)
Yeah, no. horrible idea because it makes no sense to put a spoiler on a Grand Touring car You might as well add a leaper hood ornament to match the horrible spoiler then your dream car will be complete. lol kidding

ALL XKR sold in North America seem to have the small boot lid spoiler.
Don't know if you could have ordered it without.

With the close proximity of the trunk lid to the wing, the airflow that would generate negative lift (downforce) would likely be partially blocked. Doing it for styling is great if that's what you want though. Looks okay to me.

Until very recently Jaguar had a lock on near-perfect styling and design. In my opinion there is nothing you can add to the factory-design that doesn’t look out of place and frankly, bush league. So-called “performance-enhancing features” look out of character for a fine grand tourer.
